It doesn't seem that long ago we were worrying about the year 2000 and the "Y2K Bug" and how all of our computers were going to shut down at midnight and the whole world was going to be thrown into chaos! It did not happen of course, but it certainly shows that time really does fly! Now here we are in a much more positive time locally, with the Olympics going to start in just a few weeks, bringing the attention of the entire world with it. I believe this will have a similar economic benefit on the region that Expo 86 did - it's an opportunity for the world to rediscover the magic of British Columbia!
